Jung People win Best Musical Score at the 2016 AMPIAs!

Bryan Buss and his fellow composers in Jung People have won Best Musical Score (Drama Over 30 Minutes) at the 2016 AMPIAs for their work on the 2016 film Empyrean, directed by Thomas Robert Lee.

The score was written over January 2015, and recorded in February 2015 at OCL studios, just outside of Calgary. The score was recorded absolutely with real instrumentation, relying primarily on a string and brass ensemble, grand piano, hammond organ, werlitzer, fender rhodes, mellotron, and a 20 person choir.
